3/28/13 - de squat/dead + BRO

Training @ 430a

Front squat w/power factor 225x2x10, avg 2.96-3.09f/s, couple at 3.21 & 3.33
Deads w/power factor 275x1x10, avg 2.89, couple at 3.09 & 3.21
Dimel deads 225x15x3
BB rows 225x10x3

and then the fun began........

BB shrugs 225x20x3
Wide grip cable pushdowns 3x20
Hammerstrength preacher curls 3x20

and then the fun ended..
Pullups 6/5/5/5 (these were miserable)

Speed was decent on the fsquats and pulls but def could be better. Going to stick with this weight for a couple weeks before moving up. Dimel deads were a nice change, forgot how much I liked them. Lots of glute activation. BB rows were solid, not hard but solid ROM. Probably should have thrown some heavy db rows in there for good measure but I bro'd it up so hard I was walking around like Jay Cutler in there. Looked like I got stung by a swarm of bees I was so swollen. Pullups were a bitch. Chest still sore from tuesday and with the MADDOGG PUMP I had they were near impossible. Whatevs. Pretty sure Roslick would be proud of this one. Skipped the plyo jumps, meh.




No time to throw today so I'll hit it tomorrow. Gonna try to hit some spin bike for 20-30 mins tonight then some Walking Dead action to catch up last weeks episode.
