10/8/13 - offseason w2d2 ohp & stone + caber

Training#1 @ 430a

Push press 250x10x3 (70%)
Strict ohp 155x10x3
Band pull aparts 2x20
Band face pulls 2x20
Band pushdowns 2x20

Much smoother than last weeks 12s. Felt pretty good. Shoulders exhausted by the last couple reps of the last set of strict ohp. Side note, my injured shoulder felt pretty good. No complaints at all. Still rehabbing a couple times a day as well as heat and ibuprofen. Might have to lay off the dips for a couple weeks, we'll see how they feel on friday. Last week they hurt pretty bad and shoulder was achy all weekend as a result.


Training#2 @ 1230p

15.5# stone
*stand no reverse x6, best 46
*stand reverse x6-8, best 48
*full spin x8-10, best 53

Really working on pushing with the right side on all throws. Trying to keep left leg down as long as possible. On full spin, working on getting the left down as fast as possible then immediatly pushing with my right side. Making some progress here. 

Training#3 @ 545p

20' x 100# caber x9/12 turns

Feeling confident with caber. Lower carry, faster run and longer pull. Finally not hating this event so much. Lol.
