8/5/13 - squat/pull

Training#1 @ 430a

Squat up to 405x3 no belt/wraps
24" box squat 455x5, 495x5, 545x5 bar popping off shoulders
12" step up 225x5x3
2" deficit pull up to 585x1x2
RDL 315x8x3

Done and done. Going to play around with the box squats. I'm going to get in some volume work no belt/wraps leading up to my work sets off the box. The purpose of the box is to specifically train the power position. Load the weight and drive through hard enoughto pop the bar off my shoulders. Probably look like an asshat in the gym but whatevs. Pulls felt ok, def heavier than they should've. Good sesh overall.
